‘My journey in the wild began when I was all of six months old, cradled in the arms of my father as he took me around tiger habitats in the Himalayan foothills. In the years since, India’s wilderness has played host to the greatest adventures of my life, from stumbling upon lost paradise in the mists of the Nilgiris, to tracing Corbett’s footsteps while tracking tigers in the hidden pockets of Terai.
These landscapes have changed the way I engage with nature, and given me stories that I will carry for the rest of my life. Canopy Wild exists because I believe they can do the same for you.’

We’ve spent years in the field, finding the most intimate and unexplored corners of India's greatest wildlife corridors. Our goal is never just to spot the tiger; it is to make you experience the full weight of the wilderness it calls home. To ensure this, we work in landscapes that aren’t commercialised, and only partner with thoroughly vetted host properties and conservation-minded local partners committed to upholding the sanctity of their surroundings.
We believe that being in these landscapes is an immense privilege, and it is our responsibility to ensure that natural harmony remains undisturbed. As such, we only host a limited number of expeditions each season.
Tiger Season: Terai Arc
Summer months beckon dryer vegetation, drawing animals closer to water bodies. There is no better time to encounter the tiger in the wild, and that is why we are in its greatest bastion: the Terai Arc Landscape of North India. Throughout the summer, we will be hosting a limited number of expeditions into the some of the best kept secrets across this ancient expanse.
Corbett: Infinite Wilderness
Choose between a 3 day excursion or week-long deep dive into the Terai’s most iconic tiger habitat: Corbett National Park. Hosted in an intimate retreat deep into the wilderness and far from the crowds, this flagship experience showcases India’s most famous national park like never before. Whether or not you see the tiger, you’ll certainly feel its presence, all while enjoying a luxury stay steeped in the local culture.
Foothills: Best Kept Secrets
This experience takes you into the hidden gems right at the heart of the Himalayan foothills. Prepare to disconnect and detach as you stride into the road less traveled. You’ll have the rare opportunity to walk the same trails that tigers and elephants use, and go into a pocket of the Terai that few have ever seen.
